Principal Tricia Kurtt

Crossroads Park Families,

I’m thrilled to begin my fifth year as principal at Crossroads Park Elementary — a place where students live out BE CRP each day, showing what it means to be Engaged, Careful, Respectful, and Prepared. Their growth is visible, and it’s because of the strong partnership we share with you.

Whether it’s making sure your student is here each day, reading together at night, or volunteering at a school event — your involvement makes a lasting impact.

In these first weeks of school, we’re building a strong foundation through daily morning meetings focused on PBIS expectations and essential life skills. When students feel safe, known, and valued, they’re ready to learn deeply and lead confidently.

As a fellow parent, I know the hopes you hold for your child. I’m honored to work alongside you this year to nurture, challenge, and celebrate every learner at CRP.

Let’s make it an incredible year — together.
Go Tigers!

Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS)

In our school, we believe that clear rules and everyone understanding them is important for a safe community. We use PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) to teach and encourage good behavior throughout the whole school.

Our main focus is on BE CRP, which stands for Being Engaged, Careful, Respectful, and Prepared. When everyone, including students and staff, follows these guidelines, we create a safe environment. This allows us to put all our energy into making sure learning is challenging and meaningful, based on the qualities we want every student to show.

To reach our highest potential as a school, classroom, or individual, it's crucial to be present and engaged in the learning community every day. This year, you'll hear the phrase "We can't BE CRP without ME" to remind students how much we value their presence, ideas, and leadership.
